By nature, most babies are. instance, today when I undressed Evelyn for her bath I had forgotten to grab a pair of pajamas. After stripping her down to her birthday suit I layed her in the middle of our bed (because her changing table is in there for now) while I ran to get some pj's in her room. When I came back I saw a smiling Evelyn laying in a cantalope sized circle of pee pee with a big ol' smile on her face. All I could do was laugh and get her in the tub to clean her up. After a splash filled 10minute bath I scooped her up out of the tub and wrapped her in her hooded towel. Seconds later she of course spit up, which ran right down into her fat little neck rolls that I had just cleaned. Of course! And it's a job to get under there, all those cracks and crevaces. Filthy little baby.
Our schedule has been kind of funky the past few days due to time spent with my family during my Grandpa's funeral but Evelyn has been slowly getting back on track. Last night she was up until 11pm, smiling at me while I tried putting her to sleep. But today she took her regular afternoon nap and was back on schedule at bedtime. For her nap, she fell asleep in the car so I put her to bed in her jacket. She managed to get one arm out of her jacket and say a prayer before falling to sleep.
Good news for those of you who haven't heard via my mother, I am going back to school from August to October to acquire my CNA. Hopefully in 1-3 years I will be a nurse. Yay!!
Also, Jared and I have the key to our new home. After we paint and move some things in I will post some pics.
Such a cute sleeping picture! Congrats on the new home! Remember - keep the pictures I have in my basement in mind as you decorate!
