My Little Water Bug (Another New Post Below)

This morning we had Evelyn's first swimming lesson! She loved the teachers and they were thoroughly impressed with her fearless technique. She showed them how she floats on her back, kicks on her belly, and dunked under water at least 5 times! Each time she surfaced with a HUGE smile on her face. She was so proud of herself and I was, too! She even learned how to blow bubbles in the water. Meanwhile, I got to spend the half hour treading in the water, watching from a distance. It was a fun, COOL workout.

After our lesson, we headed to McDonalds for Evelyn's first Happy Meal. She didn't care much for the food but was excited to perform for all of her enthusiastic audience members which included a young 18-year-old guy, an elderly couple, and a young mom with her 3 children ages 9-11. They were more than impressed by her speaking ability and loved recieving "Hi!"s and air kisses. But most of all, they enjoyed Evelyn' strong man performance. It was quite the site, 10 people hysterically laughing in McDonalds!
